Online DBS Workshop 2: Barring/Legal Duty to Refer

The Community Infrastructure Partnership (CIP) is hosting a series of online workshops for voluntary and community sector organisations across Hampshire. These sessions will focus on the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and are free and online. These workshops are tailored to the needs of charities, community groups, and non-profits working with children and vulnerable adults. Each workshop is designed to help you to review and improve your recruitment practices for volunteers and staff and to make sure you are meeting regulations.

Organisations which employ individuals or have volunteers who carry out regulated activity with children or adults have a legal duty to refer to DBS if certain conditions are met. This bitesize webinar is designed to support organisations to understand their legal duty to refer.
